Gan Yavne Junior High School

Migdal Ohr’s southern campus at Gan Yavne opened its doors in September 2014 to 60 students from towns in the geographical region between Rishon Le’Tzion and Be’er Sheva. The school follows the modern orthodox high school system, with religious studies taking place until lunch time followed by secular studies until the early evening.

Ma’or Yisrael

Ma’or Yisrael is a distinctive school for boys from extremely difficult backgrounds, most of whom are unable to sit in a formal education setting. Specifically, it is a vocational high school providing its students with basic studies in core subject areas and allowing students to select one of four unique vocational tracks: computer science, bookkeeping, kashrut supervisor, or a scribe. The latter two are under the auspices of the Israel Rabbinate.

Metivta Middle School

This junior high school places an emphasis on building a strong educational foundation, as well as preparing them for one of the most significant phases in their lives – adolescence. The staff includes social workers and a school psychologist, and students participate in a variety of therapy programs.

Midreshet Ha’Galil

This unique academy for new immigrant, teenage boys from the former Soviet Union is a cornerstone project of Migdal Ohr’s socio-educational endeavors. Located in Migdal Ha’Emek and established in 1993, the school is home to students from grades 8 through 13, most of whom are either orphaned, from broken homes, or from single-parent families originating in the former Soviet Union.

Shalhevet

Shalhevet is a unique high school for young women who excel in their academic studies and prefer to be educated in a more traditional environment. Students can choose electives in addition to core subject courses. The outstanding program of this fine institution is its computer graphics program, during which the students learn the art of computer graphics on top of the line equipment and are taught at a highly professional level.

Tichon LeBanot

In addition to receiving an excellent, well-balanced education, students of this all-girls high school can choose one of two tracks offered at Tichon LeBanot. The academic track focuses on studying towards an expertise in business management and accounting, whereas the technology track provides skills in graphic design and computers.

Yeshiva Ketana – Shevet Levi

Yeshiva Ketana was created specifically for graduates of the Metivta School who choose to continue a more traditional tract of religious studies. In this high school, young men between the ages of 14 to 18 study Talmud and other holy texts at a very high level of scholarship and with great intensity.

Zoharim Agricultural – Educational Youth Village

In 2012, Migdal Ohr initiated a new and unique project intended to cater to ultra-Orthodox youth who had dropped out of their traditional educational environments (yeshivot). Migdal Ohr believes that given the right conditions, these boys have tremendous potential to succeed in life.
